Our Story

At Hillside Lilies, we have loved daylilies for years — The colors, the excitement of a new bloom.

Unfortunately, when customers completed a purchase, flowers were already in full bloom, and it took great effort to process and transport orders during the hottest months of the year. Plants were stressed when they should have been the happiest.

Customers had to quickly plant the bare root flowers during the busy and warm months of June and July during vacation season, ballgames, and other summer fun. What should have been a delight turned in to a chore. Trying to return the flowers to the ground before they dried out and lost their buds was difficult.

We have devised a grow bag system that allows homeowners and wholesalers to view our products before purchase on our website and with a QR code in the garden.

This makes transporting and planting the product an easy task, and it allows the customer the flexibility to set at once, rearrange mid-season, or plant after bloom.
